Jerome

Jerome is a town that has been many things.  It started as a copper mining town in 1883 which produced over a billion dollars in copper, silver, and gold.  The Audrey Shaft Headframe was constructed in 1918 and descends down 1900 feet into the Mingus Mountain.  A headframe is a structure above a mine shaft that supports the pulleys and equipment needed for the cables to raise and lower elevators or ore cars.

Brent is standing on the plexiglass that is positioned over the mine shaft.  Looking down those 1900 feet is crazy, and a little bit scary.

Brent is posing in an elevator that was used to lower men and equipment into the shaft.  I think I'd be claustrophobic both in the elevator and going down the shaft.
