I congratulated myself too soon. I was happy that I managed throughtout this 2-year mega-spending free-for-all presidential campaign to not post anything political here. Politics seems to bring out the worst in people and I don't think I'm any exception. But, while reading a political message board, someone posted this quote. I think it sums up perfectly my thoughts the day after.
"Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and gave him triumphal processions... Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the 'new, wonderful good society' which shall now be Rome's, interpreted to mean 'more money, more ease, more security, more living fatly at the expense of the industrious.' Julius was always an ambitious villain, but he is only one man." ~Cicero

Good quote. I am disappointed but I do know the world will not come to an end. It will just be a little different. It will mean more work for me if the EFCA passes so I suppose its not all bad. Job security is good when I am supporting half of society. LOL
I'm an angry white woman today! I wonder if Chris realizes that the money he makes from the work he puts into the side business will essentially go to those with a less than stellar work ethic. I've tried all day to see the bright side of the next 4 years and I just can't.
But I'm sure Chris won't mind supporting those who either can't or won't work. After all, had he voted, he would have supported Obama.
